Provena Oats – Simple Vegan Flapjack Recipe

I was fortunate enough to try some products courtesy of Provena Gluten-Free recently. One of the items I received was a box of jumbo oats. I love oats mostly due to their versatility. With my box, I decided to make some flapjacks. I had been craving them for a while and they are really easy to make. Try my vegan recipe!

Ingredients:
250g oats
125g sunflower spread
125g brown sugar
2 tablespoons of golden syrup.

Method:
1. Place the sunflower spread, brown sugar and golden syrup into a food processor and blend well.

2. Stir in the oats.

3. Line a greased baking tray with baking paper and pour the mixture in. Press down with the back of a large spoon or spatula to make sure the mixture is spread out.

4. Bake in the centre of the oven at 180°C for approximately 20 minutes until golden brown.

It couldn’t be easier! You could also add chocolate chips, nuts, fruit or carob to make a different flavour but I fancied them plain. The mixture made about double the amount shown in the photo.
